Automatic truck loading and unloading without getting out of the vehicle

The loading and unloading of trucks has a key function in the loading and picking area. With the automatic truck loading and unloading system from FAB, a 13 m long semi-trailer can be unloaded in less than 4 minutes. This considerably simplifies and shortens the

docking process by integrating the ASK (Automatic System Coupling). The energy coupling takes place fully automatically immediately after the docking process by means of a specially developed mechanism: the driver reverses the trailer onto the ramp and checks the signal light on the ramp conveniently from the driver's cab in the rear-view mirror. The green traffic light remains illuminated during the docking process until positioning is complete.

When the traffic light changes to red, the optimum docking position has been reached and the trailer may not leave its position until loading/unloading is complete. The change from red to green signals to the driver that the loading/unloading process is complete and it is possible to drive away.

The entire signal transmission is contactless. This eliminates the need for the driver to get out of the vehicle and make/disconnect the plug connection.
