Data from the jungle

The current issue of materialfluss MARKT provides numerous answers to classic questions such as "What does company X actually do?" or "Who built the Klickkaufundzahl AG warehouse?" A total of 645 entries in eleven market overviews and two user statistics are waiting to be discovered on 84 pages.

My thanks go to the companies and agencies that took part in compiling the market overviews. Most of the participants understood what the market overviews, which materialfluss has been compiling for almost two decades, have always been and still are in 2018: The attempt to clear the jungle of suppliers in a sprawling market. Combined with its presence here in this issue and 24/7 on the website http://www.materialfluss.de, the trade medium offers intralogistics a platform and encourages users to search for the "perfect" provider. In parallel with the update of the market overviews and their recording tool, the "MARKTS" website has also been revised. Among other things, you can now also find the overviews directly in the company finder for the respective companies, accompanied by articles that can only be found in this specialist medium. Highlights include exclusive interviews with the new Vanderlande Managing Director Markus Ehrmann (page 40), the management trio of the new successful duo DS Automotion/SSI Schäfer (page 50) and the presentation of Savoye, which is returning to Germany (page 18). The materialfluss team, above all Ms. Hedwig Michl and my editorial colleague Marvin Meyke, wish you a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and always pleasant emails and phone calls in 2019! We'll see you again at the beginning of February with the comprehensive issue on LogiMAT 2019. Take care!
