LogiMAT 2025: Trade fair with consistently high visitor numbers

Under the motto "Passion for Solutions", the international intralogistics world came together at LogiMAT 2025 in Stuttgart from March 11 to 13. After three days of presentations, information and trend checks, trade visitors, exhibitors and trade fair management can draw a positive balance.

This year, the organizer concentrated 1,625 exhibitors from 40 countries - including more than 300 first-time exhibitors - on more than 125,000 square meters of gross exhibition space in the fully booked ten halls of the Stuttgart exhibition grounds. "Thanks to a more efficient design, we were able to gain an additional 1,000 square meters for a total of 68,192 square meters of net exhibition space and additional exhibitors," explains LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty from organizer Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. More than one in three exhibitors (35.9%) came to Stuttgart from abroad this year - a quarter of them from overseas and Asia.

140 world and European premieres

Over the three days of the trade fair, they presented their latest product developments for efficiency and sustainability in intralogistics - including around 140 world and European premieres. Numerous exhibitors, such as the Swiss Brabender Group, also reported significant contract conclusions, project initiations and the signing of strategic partnerships and cooperations, such as supply chain solution provider Ecovium, battery supplier Wiferion, software company TUP and AI robotics company Sereact. A total of 22.1 percent of trade visitors placed an order at the trade fair or will place orders immediately after the trade fair.

With 65,719 trade visitors (2024: 67,420) over the three days of the trade fair, the intralogistics trade fair recorded a consistently high level of visitor interest. "Despite the strikes at airports and on public transport in the vicinity of the trade fair, LogiMAT 2025 almost matched the previous year's record visitor numbers," says a satisfied Exhibition Director Ruchty. According to evaluations by the independent Basel-based market research institute Wissler & Partner, half of the trade visitors (49.9%) were there as decision-makers. 36.4 percent of trade visitors came to LogiMAT with specific investment plans in mind. Broken down by sector, 55% of trade fair visitors came from industry and 11.2% from wholesale and retail. More than 40 percent of trade visitors had a journey of over 300 kilometers. 23.1 percent of visitors came to Stuttgart from outside Germany - almost half of them (9.4%) from Asia, Africa and America. The longest journey was made by Australian companies.

Soft skills are gaining in importance

"In addition to the pure performance show, elementary soft skills in the LogiMAT concept characterize the success of the trade fair," summarizes LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty. "Among other things, the exchange of information in a supporting program at congress level, exciting live events and the Mobile Robotics User Forum characterize the added value of LogiMAT." The concept of the career and networking event LogiMAT Campus, which has been further optimized compared to the previous year, also proved its worth on the last day of the trade fair. "This was launched last year to expand the exhibitors' recruiting tools. The platform is intended to open the door to logistics for competent job candidates," explains Exhibition Director Ruchty. "At the new location in the ICS foyer, exhibitors registered significantly more interested parties than last year." 16 prominent exhibitors were on hand to inform specialists and young professionals about career opportunities in their companies.

"With the overall pleasing response from trade visitors and exhibitors, LogiMAT has firmly established itself as a trend barometer, networking platform and working trade fair in the international environment," summarizes Exhibition Director Ruchty. "It is the industry meeting place of superlatives for the intralogistics sector."
