Editorial: Keeping a cool head
Good news is rare these days. Nothing is as it seems, but tomorrow may be completely different. There's only one thing to do in a phase like this: switch on your brain and keep a cool head.
The former would have suited the LogiMAT organizers well. Canceling the event at the last minute has squandered sympathy and burned through exhibitors' money, which is now missing all the more. Deutsche Messe AG initially showed how things can be done differently - the keyword here is "common sense" - with the early postponement and subsequent cancellation of the Hannover Messe.
In the new "materialfluss products and minds" section, materialfluss gives companies the chance to show the industry once again what they actually wanted to show in Stuttgart or Hanover (from p. 12).
The trucks in materialfluss are also new - as part of the collaboration between LT-manager and materialfluss, the "Logistics - powered by LT-manager" section (from p. 34) now increasingly features topics from the world of logistics and transportation, the home of LT-manager since 2010.
As long as it is unclear when physical trade fairs will be possible again, materialfluss is breaking new ground: the virtual trade fair "materialfluss WORLD & CONFERENCE" will open its doors in mid-June. Curious? You can read more about it at www.materialfluss.de/world.htm. materialfluss will be back in print form in May or in between at http://www.materialfluss.de. We have significantly increased the number of news items published there to mark the occasion.
Best regards
Yours
