Some things were discarded, but many were accepted, and so the team agreed after intensive discussions: LT-manager will not only support its sister magazine materialfluss, the specialist intralogistics medium, in the "Logistics" section as before, but will also be integrated into the traditional title from 2021. Conveniently, my colleague Marvin Meyke and I have been looking after both titles for years, so the transition will be seamless.

LT-manager celebrates its 10th anniversary with this issue. A good time to look back (from page 26) and then set a new course. It is now undisputed that logistics and intralogistics, together with transportation, form a single unit in every supply chain. Today, a trade medium must be able to do far more than just highlight one segment. Trade media must show connections and the famous "big picture". As early as 2010, the magazine declared thinking outside the box to be a lived principle of its actions and brought the industries together.

This idea has also modernized materialfluss over the past few years and will now come into play even more strongly. In the new year, welcome to materialfluss, your specialist intralogistics and logistics medium!

Best wishes from Haar near Munich,
