Logistics system
Timocom realigns transport platform
At the IAA Commercial Vehicles, Timocom presented the expansion of its range of services to trade fair visitors. The company aims to help automate logistics processes through digitalization and networking.
Timocom presented the new strategic direction of its transport platform for the first time with the Smart Logistics System. "With the Smart Logistics System, we offer our customers access to intelligent IT applications and services for the digitalization and automation of their logistics processes at the click of a mouse," explains Gburek. The Smart Logistics System is a neutral network: "The system enables simple and secure networking with more than 40,000 verified companies from the industry."
Networking conserves resources
Timocom company spokesman Gunnar Gburek saw the environment as the "winner" of the IAA thanks to the topics of electromobility and networking. The environment also benefits from networking, as capacities along the entire transport process can be used more efficiently.
Augmented Logistics
Timocom is also illustrating its realignment graphically with a new logo. In conjunction with the claim "Augmented Logistics", this stands for the expansion of the range of services. "As a neutral and connecting system, we want to offer our customers a world without logistical challenges," says Pélagie Mepin, Director of Marketing, describing the company's vision. There were other winners of the Timocom Challenge at the IAA Commercial Vehicles. The company recognized three customers and three users who had processed the most transport orders or requests via Timocom's digital order processing over a period of five months. The winners received prizes such as free Timocom Premium use including coaching, an NIU electric scooter, a Weber electric barbecue and an Apple iPad.
