Semiconductor logistics: DB Schenker plans new warehouse in the Netherlands
DB Schenker is further expanding its role as a logistics provider for the semiconductor industry with the opening of a contract logistics site near Amsterdam. The 18,000 square meter site is intended to strengthen the semiconductor industry in Europe in the future.
DB Schenker will operate 12,000 square metres of the 18,000 square metre warehouse space and offer services such as incoming goods, cross-docking, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping for the semiconductor industry. The warehouse will be equipped with unit load devices (ULD) for air freight shipments. The construction phase has already begun. A DB Schenker team is working together with business partners towards the opening in fall 2025.

DB Schenker has been active as a logistics partner in the semiconductor industry for many years and offers logistics solutions at customers' production sites. The aim is to minimize downtimes and synchronize logistics processes. Delays are reduced and efficiency is increased.
DB Schenker operates a total of 18 logistics locations for the semiconductor industry in Europe.
