Röhlig Logistics expands its network of GDP-certified locations
Röhlig Logistics is expanding its global network of GDP-certified locations. The logistics company recently received GDP certification for its offices in Milan, Italy, as well as in Shanghai and Shenzhen, China. Röhlig thus ensures compliance with the highest safety standards in the pharmaceutical supply chain.
Juancarlos Cruz, Global Head of Healthcare & Life Science at Röhlig Logistics, explains: "In healthcare logistics, patient well-being is our top priority. By complying with GDP guidelines, we ensure that our products reach our customers safely and on time. Our certification successes promote our continuous growth in the healthcare sector and reinforce our commitment to further expanding our market position."
Independent certification
Good Distribution Practice (GDP) certification is issued by independent testing institutions and is based on strict requirements in the areas of storage, transportation and delivery punctuality. It aims to ensure the integrity of pharmaceutical products from origin to destination.
Röhlig currently has 15 GDP-certified locations in China, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the United States. The company aims to certify over 20 more offices worldwide by 2026.
