Raben with new logistics center in Mecklenburg
The Raben Group has had a new branch south of Schwerin since December 2018. Operating under the name Fahrbinde / Schwerin, the site in the municipality of Rastow is conveniently located near the Schwerin freeway junction.
13,000 pallet spaces are available to the logistics service provider's customers in this facility. The branch is designed in such a way that storage and handling space as well as the number of employees can be further expanded in the future. There are 15 loading bays and 1,750 square meters of storage space for the rapid handling of general cargo. Over two thirds of the pallet spaces are already being used for a renowned confectionery manufacturer. There is a refrigeration system for storing the goods so that the required temperature corridor can be maintained depending on the product specifications. In spring 2019, the Fahrbinde / Schwerin site will also be connected to the Raben Group's German general cargo network.
