TGL TransportLogistik employs around 80 people and is planning a turnover of around 15 million euros for 2018. It also offers national and international FTL, LTL and groupage transportation services. The acquisition is part of the Raben Group's development strategy in Germany. It will be completed on October 1, 2018 following approval by the antitrust authorities.

"With the acquisition of the site in Schüttorf, we have reached a milestone in the further expansion of our own independent distribution network in Germany, as Schüttorf is our thirtieth own network depot. The acquisition of the Schüttorf branch is part of the consistent expansion of the Raben Group's groupage network in Germany," said Ewald Raben, CEO of the Raben Group.

The acquired company in Schüttorf provides national and international groupage, FTL and LTL transport services. It comprises a 4,500 square meter terminal equipped with 53 gates, which is conveniently located at the A30 / A31 freeway junction. The location therefore offers optimal connections to the Emsland, Osnabrück and south-western Münsterland economic areas. Nellen & Quack, THE GREENLINE, Gronau was founded in 1889 and outsourced its general cargo activities to TGL TransportLogistik Schüttorf in 2016/18.
