Prologis leases 17,200 square meters in Unna
Unna, 13.06.2018 - Prologis, market leader in the logistics real estate sector, has concluded two lease agreements for a total of around 17,200 square meters in Unna. Prasco GmbH will use around 6,200 square meters of a newly developed logistics property, while a global logistics service provider will occupy around 11,000 square meters.
This means that Prologis Park Unna is fully let just three months after completion of the property. Alexander Heubes, Senior Vice President, Country Manager, Prologis, comments:
"The demand for logistics space is very high here, but suitable plots are in short supply. Special thanks go to the Economic Development Agency for the district of Unna, which sold us the property."
In future, Prasco will handle the distribution of bodywork and automotive spare parts from Unna.
"The space in Unna exactly meets our requirements for a modern distribution center. We are delighted to have Prologis, an experienced logistics real estate developer and operator, at our side," says Andreas Kaufhold, Operations Manager at Prasco GmbH.
The international logistics service provider will operate consumer goods logistics at the new location. The new space in Unna covers a total of almost 41,000 square meters. Construction began in April 2017.
