Live insights into the warehouse with Dachser
At LogiMAT, Dachser will be providing information about its global contract logistics network with 138 of its own warehouses in Europe, Africa, America and Asia. Visitors to the stand will be able to take a look inside one of the largest warehouses and follow the live processes at a mobile workstation.
The self-developed tool visualizes the goods movements of a selected warehouse location: pallet storage, transfer and retrieval. Live data from Dachser's Mikado warehouse management system is retrieved for this purpose. The warehouse manager can thus monitor, control and optimize warehouse processes from his workstation. Contract logistics managers from all over Germany will provide information on warehousing and value-added services in Dachser's European transport and logistics network during the trade fair. The Dachser Air & Sea Logistics branch in Stuttgart will provide a global touch. "At LogiMAT, we will be showcasing the full range of our expertise, from warehousing to global contract logistics solutions," explains Alexander Tonn, Head of Contract Logistics at Dachser. "We see LogiMAT as a stage for practitioners and want to present ourselves accordingly in Stuttgart."
