Hellmann takes over Europe-wide contract logistics for Jakks Pacific
The logistics service provider Hellmann Worldwide Logistics will in future be responsible for the entire contract logistics of the US toy manufacturer Jakks Pacific throughout Europe.
As part of the collaboration, Hellmann processes around 360,000 cartons of incoming goods per year at its warehouse in Rotterdam (Netherlands). As a full-service provider, the logistics specialist handles central warehouse management as well as other value-added services such as display construction, relabeling of the products and repackaging of the toys. The goods are then shipped by truck to end customers throughout Europe.
Expansion of the Rotterdam site
Hellmann is expanding its location in Rotterdam to include a new warehouse with around 8,000 square meters and 7,000 pallet spaces in order to be able to optimally serve the new customer from the Netherlands.

We are delighted to have found an internationally renowned logistics service provider in Hellmann, who will take over the goods in the port of Rotterdam and then manage the entire supply chain for us - right through to the end customer," says François Larivière, Director of Global Supply Chain, Jakks Pacific.
