Goldbeck Nord hands over two multi-user warehouses to Nosta

After five months of construction, the Goldbeck Nord GmbH Münster branch in Ladbergen has handed over two multi-user warehouses to the owner and client Nosta Logistics GmbH. In the presence of the mayor and 120 invited guests, Nosta opened its new logistics center, which has been expanded to 24,000 square meters, in a festive ceremony. The third major project that Goldbeck has implemented for the logistics service provider was completed a month earlier than planned at the ground-breaking ceremony. Two warehouses were built on 15,000 square meters, providing space for 30,000 pallets and the provision of additional logistics services.

"The completion of the logistics center is a major event and a milestone for our company," said Nicolas Gallenkamp, Managing Partner of Nosta Holding GmbH. In his speech, he praised the good cooperation and commitment of the Goldbeck team during the planning and construction phase: "Goldbeck Nord has once again done a great job. The six-month construction period was totally uncomplicated for us and the finished halls fully meet our expectations," said Nicolas Gallenkamp, Managing Director of Nosta Logistics GmbH. The logistics service provider has achieved economic benefits thanks to the early commissioning of the properties, which are equipped with high racks and open spaces for block storage as well as the provision of other services. From now on, it will be able to store consumer goods, paper, DIY and craft items for various customers and expand its business.

The new logistics center in Ladbergen offers customers of the full-service logistics provider flexible options, particularly in the area of warehouse and contract logistics. At the Ladbergen site, customers can access Nosta's full range of services: Warehousing and customized contract logistics services with a direct connection to the logistics provider's European transport network.

Goldbeck Nord realized the construction project as general contractor. As such, the company was independently responsible for the entire planning and implementation, including the tendering, commissioning and acceptance of the trades. What started out as a blank sheet of paper is now a turnkey commercial property. Thanks to a high degree of prefabrication and a well thought-out system construction method, the building was completed quickly and smoothly. Pillars and columns, for example, were manufactured as standardized industrial products in the factory hall and only had to be assembled on the construction site.

Andreas Wermelt, Project Manager at Goldbeck Nord GmbH, is delighted with the successful completion of the third project for the logistics service provider. "It's great that Nosta has trusted us for years and we assume that they will also consider us for future construction projects." The two companies have a long-standing partnership. Goldbeck Nord had already built a 10,000 square meter warehouse for Nosta in 2014 and a three-storey office building in 2015.
