Gebrüder Weiss launches online edition of its customer magazine
Gebrüder Weiss is now offering readers of its multi-award-winning magazine "ATLAS" the best articles online. Selected stories, reports and interviews from the print editions are now available digitally at http://www.gw-atlas.com . "With the Atlas, we want to entertain and inspire people and open up new perspectives on the topic of mobility and the logistics industry. With the digital supplement to the existing print magazine, we can further expand this in terms of content and design," says Frank Haas, Head of Corporate Brand Strategy & Communications at Gebrüder Weiss.
The articles now also published online include a report on a truck trip from Istanbul to Tbilisi, an interview with Heidi Senger-Weiss about her time at the head of the company and hopeful stories from Austria, Croatia and Kazakhstan. However, the digital presence of the customer magazine is not limited to an archive function. In addition to the interactive options for searching topics, issues and authors, you can also read stories that do not appear in the printed editions. Readers can also keep up to date with news on the website via Instagram and Facebook. "True to Gebrüder Weiss' digitalization approach 'The best of both worlds' also applies here: One does not replace the other, both media complement each other wonderfully," says Frank Haas, explaining the two-pronged approach of the customer magazine.
A successful year
The customer magazine Atlas has been published twice a year since 2012 and is produced by the Gebrüder Weiss communications department under the direction of Frank Haas (pictured) in collaboration with the Groothuis agency in Hamburg. In 2014, 2019 and 2020, Gebrüder Weiss won the Best of Content Marketing (BCM) Award in Gold with its customer magazine and was also awarded the "Grand Prix" for particularly outstanding work in 2019. In October 2020, Gebrüder Weiss was one of the winners of the prestigious Red Dot Award.
