The award is presented annually by the Federal Transport and Traffic Division to transport and logistics companies in Austria for special achievements and innovations.

Gebrüder Weiss customers can use the web-based myGW platform to access all the data relating to their transport and logistics orders and find out about the current status of their order processing. An electronic booking system, the management of digitized documents and the possibility to communicate via myGW make the platform a central point of contact for shippers and their customers.

"The Hermes Award is recognition of how intensively we have developed our digital services in recent years. We are constantly adapting the functional scope of myGW to the requirements of our customers with regard to greater transparency and efficiency," says Wolfram Senger-Weiss, CEO of Gebrüder Weiss. The customer portal went online in the fall of last year.
