Gebrüder Weiss completes site expansion in Carinthia

Gebrüder Weiss has invested around five million euros in the expansion of its Carinthian site in Maria Saal near Klagenfurt. The company presented the new logistics terminal at a ceremony.

This is the fourth time that Gebrüder Weiss has expanded the site. On May 27, around 400 visitors toured the new logistics terminal as part of the opening ceremony. "With the expansion of the site, we have set a decisive course for the future viability of Gebrüder Weiss in Carinthia and at the same time committed ourselves to the regional economic area," said Markus Ebner, Branch Manager in Maria Saal. With the new terminal, the company wants to continue to ensure a high quality of service for its customers and partners. The company has been operating at the site since 1992. Last year, more than 370,000 shipments to and from Carinthia were handled from there.
