Fiege: 30 more robots ordered from Magazino

The logistics service provider Fiege Logistik has ordered 30 more robots from the Munich-based robotics startup Magazino. Fiege already has three intelligent Toru picking robots in use in a shoe warehouse at its Ibbenbüren site. Due to the high savings and positive experiences, the decision has now been made to roll out an entire fleet of robots. Fiege will thus operate one of Europe's largest fleets of perception-controlled robots in the warehouse. Jens Fiege, CEO of the family-owned company, comments on the new order: "We are convinced that robots will be of great importance for intralogistics in the future - especially for fulfillment service providers." This is why Fiege decided to rely on this technology at a very early stage.
