Eco Performance Award enters ninth round

Ratingen/Hanover, April 13, 2016 - On September 22, 2016, the Eco Performance Award, an award for sustainability in the transport and logistics industry, will enter its ninth round at the Peppermint Pavilion on the former Expo grounds in Hanover.
It is already clear that the award is now being recognized throughout Europe :
"Around half of the applications came from other European countries. For example, from Austria, Italy, Luxembourg and Turkey," says a delighted Prof. Wolgang Stölzle, Chairman of the jury and Professor at the Chair of Logistics Management at the University of St.Gallen. "We are very pleased because it shows that the topic of sustainability is also being taken seriously internationally."
A new application and selection process has been introduced for the ninth round. Interested companies can register online and submit a short application. In this, applicants can initially outline their sustainability concepts and convince the expert jury of their potential with relatively little effort. All nominees submitted a detailed application by March 31. In a final selection round, three to five applicants are invited to present their concept to the jury in person. The winners will be honored at the awards ceremony on September 22 in Hanover. The application phase for the Eco Performance Award 2017 will start after the award ceremony.
