The logistics company currently employs a total of 251 trainees at 31 locations in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Gebrüder Weiss considers itself to be well positioned in the competition for young talent: "Young people can count on sound training with a wide range of career opportunities in a globally active company. Combined with our intensive training work, this makes us an attractive employer," says Monika Mandl, Head of Human Resources Development at Gebrüder Weiss.

Excursions, team building and online offers

Apprenticeship seekers can apply for numerous professions at Gebrüder Weiss. In addition to specialist training, the HR managers attach great importance to developing the apprentices' personal and social skills. For this reason, the apprenticeship period also includes an extensive program of joint excursions and team-building activities, such as the Gebrüder Weiss apprentice camp. The Group-wide online learning platform "myOrangeCollege" also supports apprentices in acquiring knowledge individually and at their own pace.

Information events provide a look behind the scenes

The logistics group will once again be providing information about training and career opportunities at Gebrüder Weiss at special information days starting in September. Interested parties are invited to take a "look behind the scenes" at various locations in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
