71 junior employees start at Gebrüder Weiss

71 young men and women are starting their apprenticeships at transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss in Austria, Germany and Switzerland this year. The company is thus maintaining its number of apprentices despite the coronavirus crisis.

"Our intensive training work enjoys a very good reputation. In view of the almost identical number of new trainees, we can look back with satisfaction on the competition for bright and committed young minds. The logistics industry has also gained further recognition this year thanks to its systemically relevant work during the coronavirus crisis," says Monika Mandl, Head of Human Resources Development at Gebrüder Weiss.

Gebrüder Weiss is currently training a total of 240 apprentices at 27 locations. In times of Corona, digital learning is gaining in importance, as is the case at Gebrüder Weiss: the company's own online learning platform "myOrangeCollege" has become an even more important component of knowledge transfer during the phase of extensive contact restrictions due to Covid-19.
