Torwegge: New generation with TORsten

Small, strong, maneuverable: These are the three words that best describe the "TORsten" lift and trolley from system developer Torwegge GmbH & Co KG. Torwegge presented the new generation of this omnidirectional transport vehicle at the Motek trade fair in Stuttgart. The vehicle not only moves loads weighing up to seven tons independently through the production and logistics halls, but also navigates autonomously. In contrast to other driverless transport systems, TORsten is equipped with its own sensors and is not tied to inductive or optical guidance. The flat and compact design of the electric pallet truck with its 1,150 × 700 mm platform also enables the attachment of countless individual superstructures. In this way, TORsten can move everything that needs to be transported from A to B in warehouses and production halls, from pallet cages and Euro pallets to individual components weighing seven tons.
