The Citec Cluster of Excellence presented intelligent technical systems. The robot hands are modeled on human hands in terms of shape and mobility. The central feature is their integrated tactile sensors, which enable them not only to grasp and manipulate, but also to feel and touch. The movements of the hands are tracked by the robot head Floka. Floka uses various facial expressions to show which object the hands are currently focusing on.
