On the left is the original from Genius in Limburg. The counterfeit on the right comes from Pingyang County Leyi Gift in Zhejiang, China. The counterfeiter copies countless Genius products - each including the "Genius" brand and the respective product name - and advertises them online, at trade fairs, at markets and in catalogs. The counterfeit cutting blades are blunt and break easily, and the plastic used contains substances that are harmful to health, according to the association.
