Ex-Vodafone CFO joins ProGlove
ProGlove, specialist for industrial wearables, announces a "milestone" on its path to global expansion: Dr. Thomas Nowak will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from March 16.
In this role, Nowak is responsible for finance, legal, logistics and production. Nowak and CEO Andreas König already formed a successful tandem at TeamViewer. Nowak is an expert on the tech scene and has more than 25 years of international management experience.
After completing his doctorate in business administration at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Nowak began his career as Manager Corporate Controlling & Development at Hoechst AG. He later established the "Partner Markets" division at Vodafone as Founding CEO. As CFO, Nowak was responsible for Vodafone in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Germany.
Most recently, Nowak was CFO at PowerCloud, an energy start-up. "ProGlove's story is not only the most exciting, but also the cleverest I've heard recently," explains Dr. Thomas Nowak. "Putting people at the center not only catches on for emotional reasons, but also because this motto can be backed up with a clear business case. I'm looking forward to emphatically bringing ProGlove's innovative potential to the global markets."
