Update for electric multidirectional counterbalanced trucks

Hubtex has given its FluX electric multidirectional counterbalance truck an update. The new generation for the 3-tonne load capacity class will celebrate its premiere at LogiMAT 2023. Visitors to stand 10B20 (hall 10) will be able to experience the new positioning of the driver's seat in the middle for better all-round visibility compared to its predecessor, as well as the patented 360-degree HX steering, which is available for the first time in a compact three-wheel chassis and is used for smooth changes of direction from longitudinal to transverse travel.

The new FluX generation from Hubtex covers the combined transportation of pallets and long goods in one vehicle. This mixed use as a front and side loader makes the new FluX 30 series (3 tons) suitable for a wide range of industries: from the timber industry to metal processing companies and the building materials trade.

To optimize all-round visibility from the driver's cab towards the load, Hubtex has moved the cab from the side to the middle of the vehicle. The improved visibility is supported by the new and more compact dimensions of the vehicle and the new mast tilt feature. The up to 20 percent shorter dimensions also make the FluX more maneuverable. In addition, individual components are easier to access for servicing.

For indoor and outdoor use

Even after switching from a four-wheel to a three-wheel chassis, Hubtex has retained the usual features in terms of ergonomics and freedom of movement. For example, the new FluX also has a spoke steering wheel and a joystick for user-friendly operation as well as a spacious driver's cab for jobs that may take longer. In addition, the patented HX steering system has been further developed so that it is now also available on all Hubtex electric vehicles with a three-wheel chassis.

The HX steering system enables smooth steering mode changes and thus reduces drum wear. Furthermore, time-consuming maneuvering maneuvers are eliminated, which is reflected in fast throughput times. Thanks to its soft elastic tires and a maximum speed of 12 km/h, the compact multidirectional forklift truck is also ideal for combined indoor and outdoor use in warehouses - even for longer than a full shift thanks to the large battery (48 V, 930 Ah). A lithium-ion battery with very short charging times can be used as an option for multi-shift operations.
