Conductix-Wampfler: Robin'6 - Data communication solution for AMR/FTS
The Robin'6 communication solution is based on the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard and replaces outdated Wi-Fi 4/5 devices that are nearing the end of their life cycle. Robin'6 has been nominated as materialfluss product of the year 2025 in category 3: Industrial trucks and components.
Compared to existing solutions for wireless data communication, it has been specially developed for use with automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). For optimal connectivity and integration into the infrastructure, the Wi-Fi solution is also equipped with LAN, CAN and GPIO connections, all positioned on the front for easy mounting and cabling. With a height of just 27 mm, the device is also suitable for vehicles with a very low overall height. The secure, wireless connection and remote management capability facilitates quick set-up and commissioning and enables the automation of fleet deployments. Robin'6 has energy-saving sleep modes and digital controls for energy management of the function blocks on board the AGV/AMR.
