Low and very maneuverable: HIT's move-e-star
The "move-e-star" low-floor transport vehicle was developed in-house by HIT Hafen- und Industrietechnik GmbH. The low-floor transport vehicle is characterized by its low overall height and excellent manoeuvrability. The drive axles form the heart of the vehicle,
in which the travel drive, steering and lifting system are integrated. The platform is equipped according to the individual requirements of the operator. The modular axle concept provides the basis for a wide variety of designs by adapting the wheel size and number of axles of the "move-e-star" to the application and load capacity. Thanks to the integrated lifting system, the low-floor transport vehicle is able to pick up and set down the load independently. It is robust and does not require absolutely level floors. The "move-e-star" is moved by remote control and can be automated. This means that the vehicle can transport loads of between five and 120 tons with full manoeuvrability, even in confined spaces or tramlines. It is also possible to couple two or more devices.
