Dematic: Automated guided vehicles in action
Dematic will be showcasing industry-specific automation solutions for e-commerce, the food business and clothing retail. Part of the newly designed trade fair presentation is a black box shrouded in mystery, to which only selected and pre-registered customers and students have access. In addition, as the world's largest provider of automated guided vehicles (AGVs), the logistics automation specialist will be presenting an AGV operated as a live demo. However, the highlight of the stand will be the black box. Visitors can go on a discovery tour in private. Dematic will be presenting its automation solutions for e-commerce, food and clothing retail in the form of small replicas. The Dematic Multishuttle will be on display for the efficient mapping of picking processes in online retail.
