Clever: Pallet chassis from fetra as a tugger train
The advantages of tugger trains in intralogistics are manifold: fewer personnel, reduced costs, faster work processes. This is why more and more companies are using them. fetra has responded to this market development: Until now, users have had the option of moving fetra pallet trolleys in a train using a drawbar and coupling. fetra has perfected this system with the pallet chassis as a tugger train. This new product makes internal logistics processes very efficient by allowing larger quantities of material to be transported at the same time, thus reducing the number of journeys. It also increases traffic safety in the aisles of the factory buildings. The tugger train can be maneuvered easily, safely and on a stable track with an electric tug. This requires a towing vehicle with front steering and a tugger train drawbar. A maximum of five chassis or a maximum of 3,000 kilograms can be moved in one train. The robust, powder-coated welded angle steel construction is equipped with four catch corners to prevent the pallets from slipping. The coupling system also ensures the best possible directional stability.
