A reach truck with a tilting mast, which is particularly suitable for use in confined spaces, will also be on display. The company's forklift-based robot technology works with Balyo navigation technology. This does not require any complex changes to the infrastructure in order to automate logistical processes. The industrial trucks orient themselves to their surroundings using natural building features. In addition, forklift trucks from series production can be used, simplifying maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Hyster Europe will also be exhibiting electric forklift trucks with lithium-ion batteries at Logimat. The batteries are often used in the food industry for indoor applications where contamination must be avoided, and the Hyster Fortens forklift trucks with combustion engines and load capacities of 2 to 3.5 tons, for which new equipment packages will be available in 2019, will also be on show.
