WERIT presents the first 300-liter IBC
WERIT Kunststoffwerke will be presenting industrial packaging at BrauBeviale (Nuremberg, November 13-15). One highlight is the newly developed Intermediate Bulk Container COMPACTline - the first 300 l IBC on the market - and the GS1-certified EURO H1 hygiene pallet.
With the new 300-liter IBC COMPACTline, WERIT offers a packaging solution for sensitive filling media with a short shelf life. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the reusable container also fits into confined production environments. The integrated nestable pallet, soon also available as a PE version, makes the IBC stackable and enables transportation with standard pallet trucks and forklift trucks. Two COMPACTLines placed next to each other correspond to the dimensions of a Euro pallet. The design and high stability enable form-fit stowage and the elimination of additional load securing, for reduced process costs throughout the supply chain. With UN and FDA approval, the small IBC COMPACTline is suitable for the transportation of foodstuffs and hazardous goods.
Industries such as food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics have particularly high hygiene requirements. The IBCs in the NUTRiLine series are designed to meet these requirements. The containers are equipped with a food-compliant, easy-care plastic pallet and a sturdy metal cage with few welding points to reduce deposits.
The inner containers are made of HDPE plastic in accordance with FDA, GMP and HACCP standards. Seals on the valve and lid opening protect the IBC against tampering. The hygiene-critical add-on parts such as valves and lids are manufactured by Werit under cleanroom conditions. The new clean room meets the latest hygiene standards. The room air is filtered, room airlocks and permanent overpressure prevent dust from entering. Optimized material conveying and storage systems prevent dust and dirt emissions. All employees wear protective clothing and adhere to high hygiene standards. Extensive measures ensure that even hygiene-critical small parts, e.g. in the fittings, meet the desired requirements. NUTRiline IBCs are available in 600, 800 and 1000 l volumes.
