The solution is specifically designed to simplify the complex requirements of high throughput warehouses and reduce the processing time of customer orders. From its Elmsall Drive distribution center, Next supplies its customers worldwide with 240,000 items every day. The shortened processing times save the company around 35 percent in personnel hours per week compared to traditional cross-belt sorters.

AutoPocket has two applications at Next: Two AutoPocket modules with more than 32,000 pockets are used for highly efficient consolidation and sorting of e-commerce orders, while another module is also used as an outgoing goods sorter. The combination of the AutoPocket sorters with intelligent software meets Next's high performance requirements and optimizes the flow of goods from picking to shipping. The two modules used achieve an output of 15,000 items per hour.
