New plant: Gebhardt builds in Dühren
The Gebhardt Intralogistics Group is growing: On September 25, the groundbreaking ceremony for a new factory building took place. The location is in the immediate vicinity of the main plant.
The factory building with integrated office space is to be built in an industrial park measuring almost 4,000 square meters. The construction project is scheduled for completion in September 2020. In future, storage and retrieval machines, warehouse shuttles, mobile robots, goods elevators and telescopic belt and vertical conveyors will be produced there.
"The new Gebhardt Industrial Park enables us to position ourselves for the future and continue to guarantee our employees and customers the best conditions for efficient processes and top quality," says Marco Gebhardt, Managing Director of the Gebhardt Intralogistics Group.
The company is also focusing on Industry 4.0 standards in the new buildings. For example, internal transportation will be carried out by autonomous robots that Gebhardt develops and manufactures itself at the site.
