Mittelrhein-Verlag orders the world's largest EasySert line
Mittelrhein-Verlag GmbH, Koblenz, publisher of the "Rhein-Zeitung" and various local advertising papers, has ordered two identical lines of the innovative Ferag EasySert inserting system, each with 36 feeders. This is the order with the largest EasySert equipment sold by the Swiss company to date. Thanks to the Navigator control technology implemented, the systems enable close-meshed picking of direct mail. Each of the two lines achieves a peak output of 30,000 brochures per hour in its class. Mittelrhein-Verlag has been focusing on greater productivity through increased automation for a number of years. The state-of-the-art inserting technology now ordered from Ferag reduces operating costs and simplifies material flow and logistics. The long-standing Ferag customer is thus equipping itself to handle additional acquired business and further external orders. This also explains the size of the two systems: with 36 feeders each, the two systems are the largest inserting lines that the Swiss conveyor technology specialist has ever sold.
