Interroll opens new plant in Thailand
Interroll has opened a new plant in Chonburi, Thailand. The modern production site replaces the previous plant on site. The investment is part of the conveyor technology specialist's globalization strategy.
The new production site has a production area of more than 4,800 square meters as well as 700 square meters of office space and was realized in the globally uniform Interroll design. The conveyor technology specialist sees attractive and long-term demand potential for its products in the growth markets of Southeast Asia - in particular Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Myanmar. In addition, the growing number of installed material handling systems in the region offers additional sales opportunities and possibilities for services in the region.

"With this state-of-the-art site, we can significantly increase our performance in Southeast Asia," says Grisorn Nakapong, Managing Director of Interroll Thailand. "Our locally manufactured products now include conveyor rollers, RollerDrive, flow storage for pallets and drum motors as well as the corresponding service."
Production line for modular conveyor platform by the end of 2019
A production line for the modular conveyor platform (MCP) will also be set up in Thailand by the end of 2019. In addition, the container loading area was designed for large orders for pallet flow solutions for the markets in South East Asia.
