Ferags Skyfall: new with buffer tank
At LogiMAT 2016, Ferag AG will be showcasing its fully modular overhead conveyor technology from the growing Skyfall family. The focus will be on a Skyfall variant that fulfills comprehensive tasks as a buffer storage system. The Swiss company sees a wide range of applications for this,
that extends far beyond distribution centers and high-bay warehouses. The Skyfall system, which can be seen in full operation in Stuttgart, is perfect for complex industrial applications in which, for example, production lines with different cycles need to be bridged or multi-layered packaging and filling processes are required. LogiMAT visitors will experience a system for filling cartridges with a newly developed Skyfall buffer as the core element.

Letting gravity do the work
In Stuttgart, every trade fair visitor will notice how easily and smoothly the Skyfall shuttles roll over the stable light metal suspension rail. This is why the Skyfall family, including the Skysorter, only needs a few drives. As a rule, one drive is sufficient for a section of 80 meters. Even on slight inclines, the technology works exclusively with gravity. The overhead conveyors from Ferag are an extremely versatile system that not only works smoothly in the truest sense of the word, but also uses energy as efficiently as possible.
