Ferag: Safe handling for different goods
Ferag AG will be represented with a demo system on which various Skyfall applications for production and distribution logistics will be simulated. This will be a premiere: The Swiss company will be presenting automatic loading and unloading stations specially developed for the Skyfall pocket sorter. Both innovations are aimed at the goods distribution sector. They are of interest to online retailers and multi-channel operators whose range of goods does not exceed ten kilograms in weight. The systems, which are fully integrated into the Skyfall technology, can be used to handle textiles, foodstuffs and household items in particular: The items slide into the Skyfall pockets by themselves and slide out again at the end of the conveying and sorting process.
