FAB couples conveyor technology
FAB conveyor technology for automated loading and unloading is designed to increase efficiency and save time on the ramp. With the individually configurable solution, the user can completely unload a semi-trailer with 33 pallets within four minutes.
The processes are directly linked to the automated material flows in the logistics center. The system consists of two main components: On an automated buffer section in the warehouse, which can be connected to the existing conveyor technology with an individual design, the transported goods are provided until a truck docks at the loading ramp. A suitably adapted conveyor system is integrated into the loading area. The respective conveyor technology can be freely selected depending on requirements. When the truck docks, a system control connection is established between the truck and the stationary system either manually or via the automatic system coupling (ASK) developed by FAB; the automatic loading or unloading process then begins.
