TGW Logistics Group successful in Turkey
TGW Logistics Group has received an expansion order in Cerkezköy (near Istanbul). The result will be the largest intralogistics facility for direct carton handling and automated logistics for textile goods in Turkey to support DeFacto's B2B and B2C business. In addition to the existing
12 aisles, 16 additional aisles will be implemented in the automated small parts warehouse with TGW Magito storage and retrieval machines, which will serve an additional 340,000 storage locations. In this project, TGW will implement a system for incoming goods including processing stations, a second bomb bay sorter and an automated carton opening system. TGW will support DeFacto with ongoing quality control and ramp-up.
