Schmidt Auma: Pallet paternoster as cooling section
Lisega, a leading specialist in pipe support systems, invested in a pallet paternoster from Schmidt Auma. The carousel storage system with two operating stations was developed as intermediate storage and for cooling blanks. The 15 gondolas have a capacity of 45 pallets. During storage, the blanks on a Euro pallet are deposited in the storage area of the gondola. Each gondola has three storage locations with roller conveyors. The storage height can be checked by means of height measurement control and the load distribution by means of inclination control. The paternoster makes work easier and reduces transportation times. Damage is avoided thanks to gentle transportation and the storage area has been reduced.
