Ferag: Only with the help of gravity
Ferag AG is presenting a new Skyfall variant that is specially designed for process interlinking in the automotive industry. The demo system fulfills complex transport and buffer functions, such as those required in the production and assembly of vehicle doors. The biggest advantage of the Ferag system compared to electric monorail systems and the like: even on a slight incline, the Skyfall slings move exclusively with the help of gravity, thus saving energy and operating costs. The overhead conveyor technology from the Swiss company, which is also suitable for production logistics outside the automotive sector, sets new standards in terms of scalability: it can be extended and converted with little effort. Visitors can experience the Skyfall system live at the Ferag stand.
