The successor to Detlef Ganz in the management of the Stuttgart-based company has not been announced, nor have the intralogistics expert's future plans. Ganz was Managing Director of the warehouse technology company BITO until the end of 2013 and moved to viastore as COO in 2014. During his time as COO, Detlef Ganz recorded numerous successes, including the development of new business areas, profitable growth within the company, well-filled order books and well-structured teams, the company explained.

"My job was to accompany the company into a new chapter," he says. "During this time, I was able to be part of a great team with whom we moved and achieved a lot." During this time, the previously pure provider of intralogistics systems has evolved into a group with an independent software house and other companies. "viastore is well equipped for future success," concludes Ganz.

"Detlef Ganz has made a significant contribution to the success of our company in recent years. We have grown, opened up new business areas, strengthened our team in many areas and made important investments," explains viastore CEO Philipp Hahn-Woernle. "We have worked together closely and amicably to set the change in motion. It was agreed from the outset that he would look for a new challenge once viastore was back on track." Hahn-Woernle continues: "This is also an opportunity for us to bring further expertise on board with a new manager. With our Software, Systems and Services divisions, we have enormous potential ahead of us."
