AutoStore sales team in Germany continues to grow
AutoStore is continuing its growth strategy and has gained Andreas Löwe, a logistics and IT expert, for its sales team in Germany. The 30-year-old comes from Pierau Unternehmensberatung GmbH - A Fortna Company in Hamburg and will bring his expertise in logistics consulting to his new role as Business Development Manager at AutoStore.
Robot technology company AutoStore has further strengthened its sales team in German-speaking countries as of July 1, 2020, continuing its growth trajectory. Peter Bimmermann, Managing Director and Business Development Manager D/A/CH and CEE of AutoStore System GmbH, Mönchengladbach, is delighted with the latest addition: "Andreas Löwe will enrich our team as Business Development Manager with his wide-ranging experience from the customer side, but also from a neutral consultant's perspective. From his work at Pierau Planung, he has already designed AutoStore systems and supported them as a project manager. I am therefore convinced that, together with our cooperation and sales partners, he will continue to successfully drive our business growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland."
Andreas Löwe worked as a logistics consultant at Pierau Unternehmensberatung in Hamburg for a total of 3 years and 1 month, where he was involved in the planning and implementation of logistics concepts and various IT systems. In addition to the analysis, definition and introduction of logistics processes, he was able to expand his knowledge in the area of conception and successful implementation of projects. His responsibilities also included the support and further development of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
Löwe is also known to logistics enthusiasts as one of the three founders and operators of the logistics podcast "Irgendwas mit Logistik". Here, the Hamburg native regularly gets experts in front of the microphone and discusses interesting logistics-related topics. Löwe previously worked for the world's leading jewelry brand PANDORA for almost three years as an IT project manager and team leader. There he was able to acquire detailed knowledge in areas such as ERP and warehouse management systems as well as inventory planning and e-commerce processing. Löwe began his professional career after four semesters of economics with an apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant.
In his new role as Business Development Manager, Andreas Löwe sees many opportunities to make a difference: "AutoStore is currently one of the most interesting logistics companies with a great history and culture. Thanks to the flexible application possibilities of the AutoStore system, I see strong potential for further growth, which I would like to help drive forward as part of a powerful team.
