materialfluss: The coronavirus pandemic has really shaken up the market. How is your company currently doing and which of your products gave you the most economic pleasure in 2020?
Mikael Vandewiele: Thanks to our wide product range, we are active in various industries. The pharmaceutical and food industries are continuing to develop well and we are also receiving an increasing number of inquiries from the food retail sector. In contrast, demand from the automotive industry and non-food retail is declining. The pandemic has given us the opportunity to offer attractive logistics solutions for home delivery and order picking in particular.

mfl: What new products or further developments can readers of materialfluss expect in the first quarter of 2021?
Vandewiele: We will be launching three new pallets in 2021. However, it's still a little too early to reveal any details. Just this much: these new pallets will offer solutions for space and storage optimization in export containers.
