On course for growth
IPP takes over plastic pallet pool from Zentek Pool System
Following the integration of Arpack's quarter pallet business in 2020, IPP GmbH is now continuing its expansion course and took over the plastic pallet pool of Zentek Pool Systems GmbH, including its customer base, on January 1.
The company is thus further expanding its product range for the market and, in addition to the wooden Euro and half pallet, as well as the 1.4 quarter pallet, offers new possibilities for industry and trade with plastic pallets in Euro and industrial dimensions. The strategic expansion of IPP GmbH's product portfolio is aimed at increased demand from the FMCG sector - particularly in view of ever stricter hygiene regulations for food, drugstore and pharmaceutical products, especially on the first mile.
"As an intelligent response to the constantly changing requirements of the market, we offer our customers a comprehensive range of load carriers and pooling services," explains Stefan Herbergs, Managing Director of IPP. "Previously, we only maintained a small pool of plastic load carriers, which we have just successfully expanded by taking over the entire pooling area from Zentek. Plastic pallets should form a solid, expandable pillar of our company." IPP sees great potential above all in the first mile of logistics for FMCG industry suppliers and in the pharmaceutical industry. The aim here is to offer the same high quality standards of reliability and service as in the existing business areas.
"We are delighted to have found a partner with the same high quality standards in IPP, which is also one of the leading European pooling companies. Customers will benefit in particular from IPP's Europe-wide depot network, its broad acceptance among trading partners and, of course, from a comprehensive load carrier portfolio," says Zentek Managing Director Christoph Ley.
