e-Voucher: Pallet voucher in digital form

With the e-Voucher, a digital pallet voucher, PAKi aims to establish a more efficient standard for pallet voucher management in the market, enabling faster processes and thus savings of up to 50 percent. PAKi is introducing the e-Voucher in 25 European countries.

Digital pallet bill management also enables real-time credit notes, so that these can be viewed in the pallet account immediately after being issued at the ramp. The real-time credit note eliminates the need for printouts and transfers or the processing of pallet bills, and processing at the ramp is shortened by ten minutes. The new form of credit note represents a further stage in the digitalization of pallet bill management with the e-voucher, which has already been on the market for several years.

Improved transparency
To be able to issue and redeem digital pallet vouchers or forward them to third parties, you need to open an account with PAKi. If, for example, a freight forwarder delivers goods to the warehouse, they can ask for an e-voucher there and the voucher is issued directly on site via the online tool. The quantity of Euro pallets provided is credited.

Pallets of the desired quality can then be retrieved from the pallet balance at any time as required. "The benefit of the PAKi e-voucher lies in the combination of online-based pallet management and the operational availability of load carriers throughout Europe," says Christian Agasse, CEO of PAKi. "The digital e-voucher ensures a high level of transparency and saves costs, as it minimizes the effort at the ramp and in administration. The e-voucher is particularly interesting for all trading companies and logistics providers that operate across Europe, as the e-voucher can be used to organize pallets for goods flows in 25 countries without paper. Customers can rely on receiving pallets of the desired quality at the desired location at any time."

Time savings and fewer empty runs
The e-voucher enables cost savings, as physical documents no longer need to be issued and entered manually in the pallet departments. Sending vouchers by post or email is also no longer necessary thanks to real-time crediting. Processing on site at goods receipt is reduced to a third of the time, namely five instead of 15 minutes. Pallet management via e-voucher also saves empty runs and therefore fuel and carbon dioxide emissions. The e-voucher can also be tracked via a barcode or its serial number.

The e-voucher is available in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
