Social networked industry - man and machine as a team

In the social networked industry, people and machines will work together in networks, share information and communicate with each other. But what course do we need to set? The "Future Logistics Congress - 35th Dortmund Talks" on September 12 and 13, 2017 will answer this question under the motto "Social Networked Industry - People and Machines as Partners in Logistics 4.0".

At the "ZukunftsPlenum" on the first day of the congress, everything will revolve around the forward-looking key topic of social networked industry. Speakers from science and business will discuss strategies for the digital transformation of the logistics industry around topics such as Logistics 4.0, NarrowBand IoT and blockchain. Other highlights of the first day: In a pitch session, a selection of start-ups will compete for the "Digital Logistics Award". After the day's program, the Fraunhofer IML will also offer an insight into the first part of the new "Innovation Lab" at the institute.

On the second day of the congress, the Fraunhofer Symposium "Social Networked Industry" will then focus in five parallel sequences on the question of which steps have already been taken towards Social Networked Industry in practice and what challenges science and industry still face. In addition to the sequences "Transport Logistics 4.0", "Supply Chain and Production Management 2025", "Innovative KLT Solutions" and "Hospital 4.0", for the first time a sequence will not consist of lectures and panel discussions; instead, congress participants will be able to experience first-hand at a total of 14 stations in the "Digital Sandbox" how people and technology interact as partners in the logistics of tomorrow. red
