"Following the peak phase of the pandemic, we are noticing an increasing demand for robotics applications. We have expanded our network in Germany in order to offer our interested parties competent development partners close to them," explains Andrea Alboni, General Manager Western Europe at Universal Robots. "It is very important to us to make the step into automation as easy as possible for small and medium-sized companies in particular. Experienced system integrators and local sales partners therefore play an important role for us. They are the ones who support our customers every day with their expertise, know-how and passion for our technology."

Successful machine assembly with Cobot
SCS Robotik GmbH is convinced of the possibilities of collaborative robotics. The company specializes in machine loading and quality control using industrial image processing. It has developed its own machine loading system for this purpose. The core elements are a collaborative robot and an innovative, plug-in pattern-based loading system. "What you have to learn to do, you learn by doing it. We have already successfully implemented several projects in which our customers' longstanding employees did not want to believe that the handling process could be automated," says Hendrik Storch, Managing Director of SCS Robotic GmbH. "We decided to partner with Universal Robots because the company Jugard+Künstner GmbH has supported us from the very beginning and we have been using UR cobots since the first project. Now we are hoping for targeted marketing support in order to successfully distribute our innovative machine loading system."
