Transport robots: Two new ones from Mobile Industrial Robots

According to the company, the two new mobile transport robots MiR600 and MiR1350 from Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR) are particularly powerful and robust. They can transport up to 600 kg and 1,350 kg respectively.

According to the manufacturer, they are also the first autonomous mobile robots (AMR) with IP52 protection on the market. MiR is therefore adding two transport robots to its portfolio for transporting pallets and heavy objects in production and logistics warehouse environments.

"When testing AMR, our customers realized that they need larger payloads for their purposes. In addition, even higher safety and quality standards are required to successfully invest in larger fleets," says Søren E. Nielsen, President of Mobile Industrial Robots. "Our new robust industrial robots meet these requirements and can therefore be easily integrated into companies' workflows."

Thanks to the IP52 classification, the AMR MiR600 and MiR1350 are the first autonomous mobile robots on the market that are protected against dust and dripping water. "As AMRs become an increasingly important part of core production, downtime is not an option," says Nielsen. "Our new AMRs are particularly durable and easy to maintain thanks to easily accessible industrial modules, components and cables."
